SCREENmocab

The SCREEN mocab project includes a video recording of conversations with artists, exhibitors and authors, as well as presentation of current exhibitions and projects of the Museum of Contemporary Art Belgrade. The conversation with the exhibitors and exhibition authors is led by a Museum curator or the curator in charge of the exhibition outside the institution, for the needs of recording and on-line putting to the web site of the Museum of Contemporary Art and to the on-line exchange base Blip TV. The SCREEN has a goal to promote the theme and contents of the actual exhibition, to articulate additionally the author’s ideas and intentions and to make them more understandable and acceptable for audience and wider public. Interviews are focused on the materials, methods, inspirations and ideas of the presented artists. Artist Marko Peljhan on his solo exhibition called Territory 1995 , at the Salon of Museum of Contemporary Art, 3.12. 2010-16.01.2011, Belgrade.
 

Video presents a conversation with the artist about exhibition. Exhibition Territory 1995 is an installation based on a long-term research project concerning the massacre in Srebrenica in July 1995. Peljhan talks about documents, self produced archive on this crime and what was the motive for making this exhibition. Conversation organized and led by Una Popovic, curator of the Salon of Museum of Contemporary Art Belgrade.
